Obituary of Joe Apolcer
Joseph Apolcer, beloved husband of the late Flora Apolcer, passed away May 27, 2022 in Whitby Ontario, in his 92nd year.
Loving father of Joanne (Kevin) Banfield of Toronto, Deborah (Jerry) Wilson of Florida, the late Robert (Heather) Apolcer of Port Colborne, Brenda (Arman) Bourgoin of Whitby and Karen (John) Meek of Brampton.
Grandpa will always be in the hearts of his grandchildren Jordan (Shawnie) Banfield, Ashley (Emily) Banfield, Ryan (Jamie) Croon, Craig (Stacie) Croon, the late Jody Croon, Cory (Sarah) Apolcer, Alexis (Jeff) Patterson, Jeremy (Natalie) Apolcer, Jeff (Meredith) Sloan, Rhonda Yanch, Laurie (Christian) DePaulsen, Brad and Megan Meek.
Blessed with Great-Grandchildren Myles, Bryson, Sophie, John, Jada, Lawson, Austin, Tessa, Emily, Abigail, Mary, Purp, Ryder, Lucas, Adam, and Caleb.
Also survived and missed by his sister Cecile “Sas” (Vic) D’Amico and his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his sister Mary (Kenny) Vince.
Joe’s family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the Armstrong Chapel at 11 a.m. with Father Janusz Roginski officiating.
