Helen Jean Tice passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family on Saturday April 9, 2022 at the GNGH after a brief illness. Born February 24, 1952 in Port Colborne, Ontario to William and Marion Johnston. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Milton Tice March 3, 2022, by her parents, sister Doreen, brother-in-law Lorne (Joyce).

Dearly missed by her children Blossom (Andrew), Carman (Carrie) and Dan along with her ten grandchildren; Ryan (Chelsey), Katelynn (Chris), Cooper, Kirsten, Brooklynn, Ethan, Jordyn, Maddy, Paityn, Camden, great grandson Kade, Alexander and great granddaughter Collins.

Helen is survived by her siblings Bill Johnston, Darlene, Diane (Roger), Delores and her sister-in-law Margaret (Ron) her brother-in-law George (Coba) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Helen was the mother of all mothers. She lived most of her life in the Port Colborne area where she established one of the most welcoming, loving and warmest households. She was known as “Mom" to many with an always open door and quick to put the kettle on for some warm conversation.

Helen developed a deep passion along with Gord for watching their two favorite sports teams. Whether it was the Leafs or the Jays one would always know the game was on by the disgruntled hollering coming from the living room.

She was the ultimate entertainer and caregiver. She loved her family dearly. Married for 52 years to the love of her life, they are now together forever. Their love story continues in heaven.
