Obituary of Margaret Viejou

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by her loving husband Gerardus (2017). She leaves behind her cherished children Hortense (Adrian) Verburg, Robert (Linda) Viejou and Marjorie (Andrew) Hill. She was the much loved grandmother of Christopher (Ramona) and Andrew (Lynne) Jardine, Jill (Anthony) Giordano and Rebecca (Jeff) Tebo, and dear great grandmother of Oliver, Gryphon, Claire, Emily, Laura and Alexander.

The family extends sincere thanks to all the staff at Portal Village for their compassion and care.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Portal Village Resident’s Council or McMaster Children’s Hospital.
