Obituary of Frances Legault

Passed away peacefully in her 85th year at home in Port Colborne on Friday August 2nd, 2019 surrounded by her beloved and devoted husband Daniel (Dan) of over 60 years and her children. Loving mother of Ken (Jackie) of Jordan, ON, Randy (Bonnie) of Mission, B.C, Larry (Patricia) of Welland, ON, Loralee (Don) of London, ON, and Allan (Helene) of Welland, ON. Loving grandmother to Jody, Jennifer, Desi, Leigh-Anne, Jillian, Ashley, Chantal, Nikki, Casey, Christine, Steven, Laurel, Jessica, A.J., Mary, Daniel, David and Rosie along with 16 great grandchildren. Sister-in-law to Rita Zudel of Port Colborne, Norman & Estelle Legault of Sudbury, Don and Denise of Oshawa, Clem and Gloria Legault of Sudbury, and Lawrence and Lorna Legault of Oshawa and Claire Matthieu of Windsor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert (Jack) and Emily Bradridge and her brothers Harry and Curtis. Fran worked many years as a service coordinator for Phantom Technologies, She enjoyed travelling abroad, RV’ing, fishing, and spending time at their Florida home after she retired. She explored many different hobbies over the years such as quilting, knitting and for the past several years stamping, always with the focus of giving back to her family.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence St., Port Colborne on Wednesday, August 7th from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 123 King Street, Port Colborne on Thursday August 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Wesley Woloszyn as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
