Obituary of Raymond LaFreniere
Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
I’m teeing off on the 18th, not sure if I'll make the 19th. Hoping to make a par, yet I can't see that far.
Had a wonderful road trip.
Born in Ste-Therese-de-la-Gatineau, QC, on February 18th, 1933 to Laurent Lafreniere and Rosalie Morin.
Can't wait to see what's in store now.
Predeceased by parents, brother Roma, and sisters Rhea Turmel and Aline Saumure.
Survived by Marie-Luce (Côte) and Soeur Gertrude.
Left behind 3 wonderful children (with Rachel St. Amour)- Linda, Daniel, and Liane (Peter Xerri). Grandchildren: Kenneth, Rachelle, and Zachary.
Did my time at INCO, Laidlaw, and on the greens. Landed a few sand traps, lost a few in the ponds. But it's those holes-in-one, not too many, but I earned them all.
At the end of it all, I enjoyed the trip, and I’m waiting for you.
Hey Snuggles, let's go for a walk!
We might even see Simba.
Hey Lil, I'll be waiting for our dance......
