Obituary of Nicola Di Tizio

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on January 27, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Santarella). Loving father of Mario Di Tizio and Marcela Di Tizio (Jim Cirello). Caring grandfather of Michael, Ryan & Brittany Di Tizio, and Janessa & Dario Cirello. He is survived by his sister Sabia Sprecacenere and many nieces and nephews in Argentina, Italy & Canada. Predeceased by his parents Erminio Di Tizio & Maria Cauta, his siblings Anna Sciotino, Giuseppe Di Tizio and Antonio Di Tizio.

The family will receive friends at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence St. Port Colborne, on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Walton as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the OneFoundation for Douglas Memorial Hospital or to St. John Bosco Building Fund.
