Obituary of Barica Kozelj

Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario after a long battle with cancer.  She is survived by husband Franjo Kozelj, son Stif Kozelj (Dana), and daughters Goldie Grinbergs (Peter) and Ann Kozelj. She is also survived by granddaughter Jennifer Kozelj. Barica was predeceased by her son Joseph Kozelj, brother Branko Priselac, sisters Svita and Anna Priselac and parents Josipa and Ljubice Priselac.

Barica enjoyed gardening, cooking and socializing with family and friends.  She was an amazing wife and mother to her husband and children.  Barica was a generous and compassionate person, with a wonderful personality and a smile that could light up a room.

Barica’s family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers will held in the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 379 Fares Street on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Andrysiak as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation and/or to the London Health Sciences Foundation.
