It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of a dear Father, Nonno and Zio on Thursday January 26, 2017 in his 92nd year.He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Nadia (Mark), Patrizia (Kevin) and Evelina (Shawn); his cherished granddaughters Natasha, Victoria and Isabella as well as many nieces and nephews especially Claudio, Tony and Rita. Bruno is predeceased by his beloved wife Clementina and son Angelo. He was also predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe and Ubaldo and sisters Domenica, Maria and Ubaldina. Bruno was a life long employee of INCO and a hard working, passionate gardener, wine-maker and jack-of-all-trades. A heartfelt thank you goes to our father’s extended family at St. Peter’s at Chedoke Residence where he was always lovingly cared for and treated with respect and dignity.
The Stocco family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Sunday, January 29th from 6-8pm. Vigil prayers will be held on Sunday at the funeral home at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January, 30, 2017 at St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 379 Fares Street, Port Colborne, ON at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul McDonald officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St, Joseph Cemetery, Port Colborne. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or St. Peter’s at Chedoke Residence.
